Our very own Chelsea Burris is managing the new Promising Young Authors program here on campus, which partners Guilford College with the Washington Pastime Literary Magazine to edit student work and select at least one student to be published. Guilford College students with no paid publishing under their belt can submit their work to email@example.com with the tagline “PYA Submission” and their word count by Oct. 17th at 11:59 p.m..
This is an amazing opportunity not only because you could get prioritized for publishing without any fees, but also because everyone will get at least one round of editing advice from our editors. See the link below for the types of writing we’re looking for, but DO NOT submit directly to the Pastime. Good luck!
